OUR STORY
TALIA'S STORY
Talia grew up in Kew and Carlton, but her story starts in Moonee Ponds - where her mum had a shop on Puckle Street, and her parents lived upstairs before moving to No. 19 Davies Street.
Her career path was anything but straight. Criminal Justice led to a year in Milan, which led to Journalism, then a Master's in Construction Management (higher than your double degree, Trent!)
Now she's following in her father's footsteps in Project Management at a commercial construction company known for excellent Christmas parties.
TRENT'S STORY
Trent grew up in Glenroy, playing football despite countless injuries and - in his words - "being the better twin" (Lachlan remembers things differently).
He studied Architecture & Construction Management before landing in Project Management at a commercial construction company, also known for excellent Christmas parties.
THEIR RELATIONSHIP
We met in 2014 at a work Christmas party, but it took another Christmas party eight years later for us to finally plan our first date - told you they were excellent parties!
Four years on, we've conquered a European holiday, a major renovation (bringing Talia back to Davies Street, Moonee Ponds - this time at No. 28, Trent's dream suburb), and welcomed our lucky little Luna into the world.
Now, all roads lead to Rome - the first city we travelled to together, and where we're about to be married.
